Another action-packed week in Elonica! The Leader is riding the crest of unquestioned support for himself and the president he purchased. This last Continuing Resolution solidified the omnipotence of the Executive Branch and relegated the House of Representatives to the lesser role of cheering section. Chuck Schumer and the Senate democrats capitulated as expected and added their support to The Leader’s constitutional dominance. The Leader, through his presidential mouthpiece, enjoys even greater license to pursue the important causes that brought him his sweeping 1.5% majority. Now that he’s lowered the cost of eggs, strengthened the stock market, and ended wars in Ukraine and the Middle East as promised, he can turn his attention to other issues that Elonicans overwhelmingly support:
- annexing Panama, Greenland, and Canada.
- firing as many veterans as possible from government jobs.
- eliminating USAID, the Department of Education, and The National Consumer Protection Bureau.
- dismantling all government offices unnecessary in an oligarchy.
- dictating curricula and policy in the nation’s colleges and universities.
A beautiful aspect of Elonica – one of the ways we know that oligarchy is superior to the democracy we are leaving behind – is how efficiently things are getting done now. Town halls, bills, debates, and laws are exactly the waste, fraud, and abuse that brought us to our knees in the first place. In Elonica, our Leader is strong enough and savvy enough and focused enough to get us where we want to be without all that inefficient process that slowed us down. Brilliantly, he uses his bought-and-paid-for president to issue executive actions that do much of the work. He then counts on the president to dominate media with interviews and off-the-cuff statements and posts on Truth Social. In the meantime, The Leader is left unattended to dissect the government — one office, one data set at a time. He is now casting his wise entrepreneurial eye on the Social Security Ponzi scheme and the National Security Agency. No one can argue with his results to date. By the time this current CR ends in September, most of the heavy lifting will be done. Our government will be leaner, merit-based, and ideologically pure. Post-woke. Post-DEI. Post-weaponized. Post-Constitutional. Post-American.
Every once in a while it looks like folk are uncomfortable with The Leader’s assertive slash-and-burn tactics. The public so desperately wants to believe that the president knows what he’s doing. They need someone to blame for discomfort during our transition from America. The Leader recognizes this reality and works closely with his orange majordomo to divert unwanted attention from his essential behind-the-scenes work. Recently he let the president assert that Cabinet secretaries are in charge of their departments. Right. From time to time he wears a suit as a show of respect. Should the president misinterpret any of these faux acts of obeisance – and we have to remember that the president is just a wee bit prone to ego – The Leader cuts another big check to the president’s causes and candidates. Purchasing the presidency was just a down payment. Now that he has his hands on the government’s money, The Leader can keep the payments flowing. Those predicting that the president will tire of The Leader are forgetting who owns whom.
If you’re finding that changes to our country are coming so fast that they worry you, you might want to think about attending one of the “protests” predictably hosted by the Radical Left. I visited one, not because I question our transition to Elonica of course, but because I wanted assurance that the libs have been vanquished forever. I encountered 500 misguided people actually challenging The Leader’s vision for our country. Can you believe it? Unlike the MAGA patriots so committed to Elonica that they stormed the Capitol, these “concerned citizens” just communed peacefully to share their poisonous messages of anger. An example of the hyperbolic vitriol I witnessed:
Thankfully such rabid expressions of disappointment in The Leader will eventually provide grounds to unleash the Insurrection Act and activate Hegseth’s warrior military. Elonica cannot abide such unconstitutional dissent.
I’ve been thinking that because our new meritocracy is governed almost exclusively by executive action, it makes sense to focus more attention here. If you haven’t had a chance to read this repository of wisdom and insight (about 150 orders and counting), I encourage you to carve out the time to do so at WhiteHouse.gov. For those of you with lives busier than mine, I’ve been trying to honor the poetry inherent in the Executive Actions by summarizing them into haiku on this site’s Edicts du Jour page. I’ve spent so many enjoyable hours immersed in this body of unadulterated leadership that I’ve come to see certain themes. As a service I’ve begun the process of adding summary icons to the haiku to provide more information about the edicts (until you have the opportunity and/or inclination to savor them for yourselves.) Check out the new improved Edicts du Jour page.
Yes, in case you’re wondering, Elonica tops my March Madness bracket. Under normal circumstances I’m a dyed-in-the-wool Duke fan. But I’m convinced that this is the year The Leader and his teammates go all the way. Go DOGE!
The rich ruleth over the poor, and the borrower is servant to the lender.
